Our new EP Hush House is soon to be hitting digital shelves, and all you wonderfully patient lot waiting for your CD’s shall be receiving them shortly. But to tide over the long dark days between now and then here is some of the artwork for the EP put together as a widescreen wallpaper. Download, share, put it on a t-shirt or just stare at it constantly at its awkward beauty!
2013 has been an incredible year for us. We’ve had hugely positive feedback to our debut album which has received unequivocal praise from press, plus an award winning music video for our track The Man Who “Was Forever Haunted By His Head.
Recording of our new EP is now coming to an end and the very final changes are being tweaked and twiddled. Our time at Middle Farm Studios is drawing to a close but it’s been an incredible experience. Peter Miles who has been at the helm engineering and producing is a very talented man in many respects. Most excitingly for us he was the guitarist for Martin Grech who if you’ve not heard of him before is one of our favourite artists (http://martingrech.bandcamp.com/). However as a producer he has been a pleasure to work with and has a gift for creating a relaxed creatively conducive environment.
The studio experience is a strange one. Unlike recording at home there is a time restriction which adds pressure to your performance but also forces you to make creative decisions on the spot which ultimately gives a more immediate feel to the final product. The hours are long; the smells are BAD; but you can’t beat the sense of comradary between your fellow band members, who are all working their hardest to create the best music they can. We feel that this is reflected in the final product and we hope you do to when it releases very soon.
Finally, thank you all for being a part of making this experience worthwhile. We want you to love our music as much as we do, and if you do love it then tell everyone you know. We want to keep performing and writing new material for as long as life allows us and our fans and followers are a huge part of what motivates and inspires us to keep going. Make sure you come see us at a gig soon and come say hello if you do. We look forward to hearing your opinions. The new EP will be entitled ‘Hush House’ and will be available through our website, iTunes and all major music channels.

Victorious in Portsmouth has grown from its humble beginnings last year, into to a full on two day musical extravaganza taking place in the incredible Historic shipyards. We were fortunate enough to play this year on the Little Johnny Russel’s stage, a huge 2000 capacity under cover stage in its own right and loved every minute of it. Here are a few shots from the gig. Looking forward to even more great things from this event next year.

The latest review is in from Rustzine.com and I think you could say that it’s rather positive. In their own words ‘The Lost Art of Living is the light inside us, seen through they eyes of some of the most talented musicians of our time.’ And no we didn’t pay them a penny. Check out the full review here or by using the link below.

With pleasure, we present our first ever music video ‘The Man Who Was Forever Haunted By His Head’. It’s been months of hard work for Claudio Sichel (Illustrator and Director) and years of writing, producing and gigging for us to achieve what we have today. We’re extremely proud to present this to you. Sit back, turn up your speakers and set YouTube to full screen and High Definition. We hope you enjoy.
